NORCAT Appoints Pejman Salehi as Chief Executive Officer

Sudbury, Ontario — The Board of Directors of NORCAT is pleased to announce the appointment of Pejman Salehi as Chief Executive Officer, effective March 2, 2026.

Pejman brings more than fifteen years of senior leadership experience, most recently serving as Vice President, Academic at Conestoga College in Kitchener, Ontario. In this role, he provided strategic leadership to advance institutional excellence and student success through innovative academic programming and rigorous quality assurance. His portfolio included oversight of several key schools, including Computer Science & Information Technology, Engineering Technology, Trades, and Creative Industries.

During his tenure at Conestoga College, Pejman led major expansions in program offerings, digital transformation, immersive technologies, and experiential learning.

Pejman holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Concordia University and has eight years of industry experience in software development and model-driven software engineering research. As an advocate for educational innovation and AI-enhanced learning, he is committed to strengthening talent pipelines, supporting regional innovation capacity, and driving meaningful social and economic impact.
