NORCAT is pleased to announce Nancy Guay, Agnico Eagle Vice President of Technology Optimization and Innovation, as the Honorary Chair for Mining Transformed 2024 hosted at the NORCAT Underground Centre in Greater Sudbury on May 28th and 29th, 2024. Mining Transformed is the world’s only technology exhibition in an underground operating mine providing a unique, hands-on opportunity for technology ventures and mining companies to engage amongst live demonstrations of emerging technologies poised to transform the global mining industry.

With 30 years of experience in the mining industry, Guay brings extensive technical and operational expertise to Mining Transformed – exemplified by her role as Vice President of Technology Optimization and Innovation at Agnico Eagle. Prior to her role at Agnico Eagle, she served as a metallurgy consultant at Coffey Mining in Australia and as a metallurgical engineer with SNC-Lavalin in Montreal.
