Greater Sudbury, ON. | February 6, 2026 – NORCAT is pleased to announce Don Duval, Principal at Evok Innovations, as the Honorary Chair for Mining Transformed 2026 hosted at the NORCAT Underground Centre in Greater Sudbury on May 25th to 27th, 2026. Delivered in partnership with the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM), Mining Transformed remains the world’s only exhibition in an underground operating mine providing, a unique, hands-on opportunity for technology ventures and mining companies to engage amongst live demonstrations of emerging technologies poised to transform the global mining industry.

Prior to Evok, Duval served as the CEO of NORCAT where he led the organization’s evolution into a globally recognized mining innovation hub.
