Job Position: Business Development Representative

Location: Greater Sudbury (Remote)

Duration: Full Time

Position Description:

We’re hiring a Business Development Representative to join our growth team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate who is curious, driven, and excited about working in tech, infrastructure, or environmental innovation.

In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact with potential customers, helping identify opportunities, start conversations, and guide leads to the right solutions.

You’ll learn how sales works at a high-growth startup and play a key role in expanding our client base.

Candidates must live in Canada to qualify for the role.

What You’ll Do

  • Research and identify new business opportunities across mining, infrastructure, and public sector markets
  • Reach out to potential customers through email, phone, and LinkedIn to spark interest
  • Qualify leads and book meetings for our senior sales team
  • Customize outreach messages for different industries and buyer personas
  • Keep track of your work and performance in our CRM system
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to improve our campaigns and strategies
  • Support proposal development and client research as needed

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • A recent graduate from a college or university program (business, marketing, engineering, earth/environmental science, or technical fields preferred)
  • Clear communication skills and a professional, friendly tone
  • Strong organization and time management
  • Comfortable learning new tools and working in a startup environment
  • Comfortable with cold outreach
  • A passion for sustainability, tech, infrastructure, and solving real-world problems
